IRES’ Information and Documentation Centre organized, October 7, 2013, a roundtable dedicated to the presentation and discussion of the book elaborated by Prof. Jean Pierre BOUCHEZ, entitled "The knowledge economy : structure, challenges and prospects." The discussion held during this roundtable enabled cross-readings of the book’s main findings. It outlined the specifics of the concept of knowledge in its various dimensions: historical, sociological and economic, offering reading grids conceptual and pragmatic, as a prerequisite to better understand the construction methods, challenges and prospects related to the knowledge economy.
